KEY REQUIREMENTS U.S. Citizenship Required Travel and relocation expenses will not be paid DUTIES: The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Pharmacist in an ambulatory or in-patient care setting on an Air Force (AF) installation, performing professional duties which include clinical, consultative, educational, oversight, and administrative responsibilities. The incumbent of this position will also perform the following: · Delivers pharmaceutical care to patients implements and coordinates the provision of patient pharmaceutical care services and programs. Provides distributive services and pharmaceutical support to health care professionals within the Medical Group. · Ensures that assigned pharmacy operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Performs advisory and consultative duties. Maintains effective working relationships with members of the · Executive Staff, providers, and support personnel of the Medical Group, as well as civilian physicians and other military facilities. · Provides educational functions to improve the knowledge base of professional and non-professional staff and students as needed. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Basic Requirements: Education: Four-year bachelor's degree in pharmacy recognized by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education. Licensure: Except for research positions that do not entail patient care, all applicants must be licensed to practice pharmacy in a State, territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. AND Additional Requirements for For GS-11: Successful completion of a 6-year course of study leading to a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree AND 1 year of professional pharmacy experience equivalent to at least GS-09.
